Princess Alexandra Auditorium

The Princess Alexandra Auditorium (PAA) is a stunning 750-seat performance venue set on the banks of the River Tees within the grounds of Yarm School. Opened in 2012, it was designed and built to the highest performance specifications, earning a Civic Trust Award commendation and two RIBA Awards for design excellence. Its features include an orchestra pit, a bespoke four manual digital organ, specialist acoustics and an atrium bar overlooking the river, along with flexible Studio Theatre and Recital Room spaces. The PAA presents a rich and varied programme of live music, comedy, theatre, dance, opera and lectures, welcoming both established names and emerging talent.
