Soigné

Soigné (pronounced "swan-yay") is a patisserie run by father and son Stephen and Josh Palmer. Stephen is a classically trained baker and pastry chef, and Josh is a rising name in modern patisserie. Everything is made by hand, from scratch, every day: laminated pastries such as croissants, kouign-amann and pain au chocolat, made with Scottish cultured butter. Coffee is from the speciality roaster Railtown. After opening first in Ingleby Barwick, Soigné now has a second shop in Yarm.
