Superb pub, better now the outside area has had a refurb. Only 3 stars because of the following issues: Staff always saying there’s a 40 minute wait for food. Needless just gives the impression they can’t cope. It’s always 40minutes! The customers queue in a straight line for the bar. A modern scourge of society that the manager needs to stop. Would it hurt for the staff to smile?? It’s a happy pub, I met my wife in there 20 years ago when it had atmosphere and was part of the weekend scene and a drinkers pub.
